Church Gun

Now this is a pretty little baby I'd be happy to accompany me to church. My Colt might get jealous but she'll get over it.

She's a PSA Baby .25 Renaissance FB.

Thanks to Oleg for the nice picture.

  1. For sure it's pretty. But I'd like to compare it in terms of frame size to S&W 380 or the Sig 380.

  2. Nice thing about guns, they don't get jealous if you handle, shoot or buy another gun. I'll stick with my bursa thunder 380cc.

  3. My XD 9 sub cmpact is what works for me. I am kinda hooked on the XDM line. The weight is good for wife helps her with the recoil. I like the 19 plus 1 factor myself. Guns are like wives , pretty, exspensive, nice to hold, you always keep them close by, and they are very satisfying. Both will put a hurting on you if you dont treat them right.

  4. WOW! Talk about a whoosh back in time. As a kid of about 6 or 7. My grand father had a little shooter, that looked just like that one. And the neighbor, down the street from us. Had a cigarette lighter that set on their coffee table, that looked just about like that little pistol. Also. I never got a chance to shoot my grand fathers "little friend", as he called it. I don't know what happened to it after he passed.

  5. Pretty, but I'll stick with my little Ruger in 380. More bang for the buck.

  6. Matt, yes she is pretty. Thanks.

kenlowder, really, your girls don't get jealous...mine sure do. I must talk to 'em and caress 'em, give 'em a peck on their barrels...they'll squeal and beg but I hold the line and tell them next time, baby....thanks...

justcook, understand. I only pack the little ones on Sunday, tucks nice and doesn't mess with the lines of my jackets.

Flier389, retro, you get it, Bubba. Good for you.

Sixbears, isn't funny how we all have our favorites...now get back on your sailboat...thanks, my friend.

  7. Gold plated 1911 with pearl grips and John 3:16 engraved in the slide and a cross and chain on the lanyard. Now that would be a church gun.

  9. Beautiful, wish that kind of finish was more common. Is it engraved?

Oh, .25, Prohibited in Canada. *sigh*

  10. Duke, 'ole buddy of mine, that would make an excellent church gun, but it's too darn large. It'd make my coat bulge.

kymber, dear sweet lady, it'd make a nice Christmas gift for me too...Duke, give her one.

Pimpley Bum, you poor guy. Ya'll can't even own a little bitty .25...man, you folks need to kick some government butt. Poor kymber lives up there too...shame. Hey, come on down and I'll get you some firearms, I'm sure you could smuggle a few back across the Socialist lines....

Thanks for the comments guys...and girl.

  13. Stephen: Yeah, lots of our laws don't make any sense. And there so badly written that most people can't make heads or tails of them. Things seem to be slowly changing though, we won't have to register our non-restricted long guns soon.

So hopefully it'll lead to other regs loosing up.

  14. Pimpley Bum, I've heard there is action in Canada towards easing some of your more restrictive gun laws and I find this news hopeful for all of you. Thanks.
