I'm sure SW knows you have many projects with which to occupy your time. Just think BACON. :)
Problem is I tend to whip out an entire package of the thick sliced expensive stuff. Makes for two fine bacon tomato sandwiches. Later, when my naughty habit has been discovered she frowns at me the rest of the week. That and she hates it when I eat all the ripe tomatoes in the house. Burp....
There must be places you where you can purchase supplies to restock the larder before her return.
Since I discovered the Paleo diet, I've been able to justify bacon. Skip the English Muffin, eat bacon = health. It's awesome.
Have a good read and make a hot chocolate. I really appreciate my quiet time, and I hope you will find a way to enjoy it also.
The kettle has boiled. Soon as I finish with the blogs it's on to Adrian's Diary series. Thanks, pretty lady.
Ahhhhh peace and quiet. I always enjoy the three days my DH goes to his spring gun show. He takes the travel trailer...I send plenty of bacon along. Togetherness can sometimes be too intense and needs a little time out.
Very true. For her. I like her present and accounted for so I don't worry about her safety. Your poor husband...really, he has to travel for a gun show. Too bad. We have about two a month just a few miles from our home. I like the bacon idea though.
Well, we live 100 miles from nowhere. We have 2 gun shows here a year. Not enough for DH. So he has to travel to the other nearest one twice a year. Bacon and beer.
Sorry for this late reply....where, may I ask, do you guys live, and do you blog, and if not, get 'er done. Thanks, my sweet friend.
I got a Coleman 413g you could restore for me if the need something to occupy your time, only if the price us right.
Time and money can restore any good Coleman. Just sold a 413G to a happy camper. Currently deep into a 425C from the 1960's. It'll take a while....
That's an outstanding idea...
And it's peaceful.
Lucky you. The house all to yourself. I live with 5 1/4 other folks. I get no time by myself.........
Five I can take, but that one quarter...gotta go.
Well the 1/4 is my grandson, being that he is 3 mos old, he stays. LOL. Its gotten better because my two sons are now working 10 hr days.
