It's Okay, Just Insult Me

Name calling is just childish, and this is over the top and sick.

If you want to know how to be dropped from my links...this is a prime example.

And yes, I side with the Tea Party.

  1. TEA PARTY!!!! Fly that flag high and mighty!!! I think I shall post tomorrow, when I'm sober and my grammar is correct. It's the tea party's fault, what an uneducated fool. Think you should have posted an Obama Zombie instead of the Unicorn Meat, would have been more fitting.

  3. I am still bewildered that so many people who follow blogs like ours are on that guys followers list and link to him from their sites. Why he has been attacking people for years off and on. I guess he goes through periods were he is almost sane or something as honestly I stopped paying attention a few years ago. Then the other day I saw his blog getting linked to once again here and there and when I checked it out was the same old drivel.

I really like the Femocrat talking point he rattled off about it being the LAW (I picture old Stallone as Judge Dread here "I AM DA LAWWW"). When it is right there in the Constitution that the House controls spending and actually controls taxation as well. It's their job and it's the LAW. Most of the Congress critter's constituents do not want this Obummer care travesty and it is their Congressman's place to do everything in their power to stop it.

    Government is not for charity.

    1. I only linked out of courtesy and good manners as he linked me first. One of my blog rules...tit for tat. Now, I agree with you completely. You know your Constitutional law - few do. This so call Obamacare crap is nothing more than a power grab. It is a travesty. Tell one thing, I've learned my lesson about this fella.

    2. I know your a good guy and like to reciprocate on Blog rolls and will give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We are different in that regard as although I will hear anyone out without getting offended when I see one post that is so opposed to my own views I drop em like a rock. That being said there are a few I weigh in other areas strongly enough to avoid being too picky about political/social points.

Why with my staunch political and social views I would never find a perfect match anyway so I know what you mean.

But this rat guy has gotten down right nasty with others in the past. I think it was Wirecutter he attacked a few years ago if I am not mistaken and he was way out of line then.

I will give the guy credit though he sees where his bread is buttered. He may use hypocritical DNC standard arguments but he knows without the system we have now he is toast. I don't think any of us so called right wingers or conservatives would oppose taking care of disabled Vets but I do think there might be a restructuring of the definition of disabled both for social security and veteran benefits and that scares him.

Him and a few dozen million others.

    3. I have been seen by many doctors over the years. My injuries are real and disabling. I have been totally disabled for over 20 years and my rating is guaranteed for life. I am not afraid of restructuring.
If you don't like me expressing my opinion, don't come back. You don't have to be insulting.Wirecutter and I have talked. We are friends. ask him.

As for coming back I didn't go, we are not on your blog nor would I ever visit it intentionally to begin with. I make it a point to steer clear of leeches and those who would enslave others to pay their way all while holding a child up as a shield.

  6. I was just over at Glock Mom's and I saw the post on that. I had read the blog in question and decided I would not read it anymore. I barely get around to everyone I like to read anyway, let alone blogs that are annoying.

  7. I must have been one of the first to read his rant today. I was shocked, appalled, and had nothing to say. There's no point in getting my knickers in a knot when the entire tirade was asinine and too aggressive.

Now, if I hold steady, could you please help me get this teabag stapled to my NRA cap?

    1. So you are knifing RAT in the back like you did Kymber?

For all the agreeing you've done with him over there all this time when he sticks to others, don't give up on him now.

Too bad you didn't speak up when he stuck it to Jane like he did a couple of months back. Oh yeah... she's a Christian.

      Delete
    2. For what you don't know, I could buy a gold mine. I sent him an EMAIL telling him how much I care for Jane and that he had no business attacking her like he did. As for attacking Kymber, if ANYONE HAD ANY SENSE and would read my comment as it was INTENDED, it was JOKING about how I could never do what she has done without falling down and begging for a discharge.

But did YOU bother seeing that part? I do not believe it inviting controversy at another person's blog as you do. I maintained as much dignity as I could, knowing I was being circled by idiots in their war wagons.

And I dealt with Rat via EMAIL while trying to maintain a friendship with him BECAUSE the man has PROBLEMS. He's obviously not the only one.

    3. Stephen, I don't know what's going on or who is stirring a rather odd hornet's nest, but I apologize that an innocuous comment from me would invite a rangewar at your site. I apologize.

    5. I'm not the only one who thinks this way... seeing as there are two other blogs that won't respond to your comments anymore.

So you're saying that the blog owner had no sense when SHE shut you up over there that day? Gee for some reason, I don't think she thought you were joking either.

Yeah Stephen, I apologize as well, but I've had enough.

      Delete
    6. Yes Matt. That's exactly what I'm saying. Now, what's YOUR problem? I don't even know you, your blog, or give a damn about your opinion.

You've "had enough" of whatever it is you know nothing about? (just like my email to Rat concerning Jane) makes you sound too confrontational for a rational person

    3. "freedom of speech" is fine. But so is the "right of association."

Some folks don't like being associated with those who are destroying Western Civilization and replacing it with a perverted, licentious, greedy, leech-infested post-Christian wasteland.

  11. Can someone tell me what all this fighting is about? I read all these blogs and cannot understand the characters in this drama. I am not sure who are the characters. Only one blogger will not answer me or comment on my blog, but that was after the bloggers advances toward me and following me from blog to blog, commenting directly on my comments or directing the blogger to really give it to me. I can still be interested in a blog if I don't agree.

Every blogger advances his or her point of view, even if the blogger is living in a fantasy world. Even if the blogger is old and sick, I can respect the person if not the views.

I read blogs that blast Rep and Dems. So? I voted for Obama as the lesser of two evils. I still feel that way and really hate what he is doing. So, are you all going to hate me and my little blog about parsimony?

I really like Stephen and Harry and Rat, even when I don't exactly agree. I respect them. Matt's blog cannot even be accessed! So, I have no idea what he thinks.

As a blogger, I am not so egotistical or myopic to think that everyone who reads my blog agrees with me. Some are polite and say nothing. Others disagree politely. Then, there are the few who call me names, call me stupid, call me an idiot and other things. Those never made it to my blog because I was moderating my comments.

Now, I suppose some of you may come and just annoy me and call me names. Whatever.

Don't you think that listening to other points of view is enlightening? How can you refute a viewpoint if you don't know the complexities of the viewpoint?

    1. Hold on there a minute PP or Linda if that is what you are going by now. You're the one being a bit judgmental here as a matter of fact. You are a perfect example of the tolerance so evident in the people you appear to be admonishing.

Perhaps it is because when you put forth your misguided political views it doesn't include phrases like "Idiot F*cks" "Racist Dumb A$$" etc. so Stephen or Harry or whomever considers your opinion and online friendship rewarding even if they disagree so in fact the problem isn't with them but with someone crossing a line.

Those you mentioned here go a long way to extend courtesy and an olive branch to many differing opinions and they don't hide behind blog owner approval for comments either.

Everyone has their own line in the sand that puts an end to tolerance.

      Delete
    2. My blog is not my name and my name is not my blog. I am not being evasive with two names. This site will only allow Linda not my url to my blog.

So, did anyone call me a name? No, as far as I know, there is animosity at no one here. I was not admonishing anyone in particular, just commenting that there is a lack of tolerance on the part of everyone who is commenting and the author of the blog in question. .

Why are you being so insulting with "misguided political views"? You have no idea what my political views are. Why are you jumping on me? What did lotta joy do? I should have never commented. I did not know I would be attacked by your comment of "what you are going by now." You seem to imply that I am changing who I comment as in order to be deceptive. Please don't accuse me of anything even in an oblique manner.

Did Rat call anyone you by name? Only if you come to my blog causing trouble do I consider you crossing the line. You can talk all you want on your blog.

Maybe I just won't come back. You all have big guns.

Since this blogger does not allow the option of my posting with my blog, I will just reply with my name if that is okay.

      Delete
    3. I don't care what name you use and it is my opinion that anyone who voted for the golfer in chief is totally misguided. Which is also my point that if someone was intolerant they would say something to you about it (Like me who is intolerant of Obama supporters) so therefore the owner of this blog is obviously a tolerant individual and does not deserve your accusation that he is being intolerant.

You are barking up the wrong tree.

And the name of your blog is also the name of a blogger who at least shared your goal of voting for Obama. Along with a few other similarities. In fact I haven't seen her posting in a while.

As far as this Rat guy he made a post that many bloggers had issues with and they made rebuttals. You seem to have a problem with rebuttals.

    4. As a matter of fact you are exactly who I thought you were. I don't know what type of rope-a-dope you think you are trying to pull but your original Anonymous comments under the Name Practical Parsimony link right over to your current blog.

It smells like your own opinions picked you up a stalker and you are attempting to throw them off. As a matter of fact I even remember seeing said stalkers comments here and there.

Epic Fail for attempting an outright lie in your righteousness.

      Delete
    5. As far as I know, I have not deliberately made an anonymous comment. I could have hit the wrong option. My hands and fingers don't always hit the right key since they have been damaged in the past. Plus, I have cataracts that need removed last summer! And, I cannot sit to type, so I am scrunched down in my chair because of my back and have the laptop on my stomach.

I just looked and there is no anonymous option on this site, just as there is not on my site.

Point me to my remark that is anonymous. What original remark? Where? I cannot even post as anonymous.

Do not call me a liar. I cannot believe the owner of this blog is approving of this bashing I am getting. Righteousness? That makes no sense!.

  13. Oh, my! Everyone has different opinions - we don't have to agree or reply every single time someone posts something and no amount of facts are going to change their opinions, ever. There are a huge amount of political blogs out there to comment on if you wish to. If you don't like what is being said, don't read it. Simple, really. This blogging thingy was supposed to be fun. 15. Stephen, I agree he crossed WAY over the line with that post. He could easily have made his points, right or wrong, without the name-calling and insults. It does seem to be the hallmark of many contemporary leftists and liberals to go immediately to personal attacks when someone disagrees. Sad, that.

  16. Matt is a friend of Kymbers. Like many of her friends, myself included, we were very unhappy with the insinuating comments made about Kymber. If they were meant to be amusing, she did not find them so , nor did we. To disparage someone on other people's blogs, particularly to infer that they have been deceitful about their military service, is in very poor taste. If you disagree with something they said, then the appropriate venue is to say so, on your blog or theirs, but to do so in a logical and impersonal manner.

Thanks, Matt, PioneerPreppy, and Harry. You are all fine gentlemen.

      Delete
    3. But, Pioneer Preppy can attack me and call me a liar on your blog? You have not admonished him. Does he not understand I am NOT being deceitful when I post as Practical Parsimony when the url is allowed and that other times I can only use my Google name? That is not deceit. Sometimes I have used my Google name accidentally and confused people who know me as PP. At other times, I have hit anonymous just because it was an option. Sometimes, I hit Typepad or some of the other options accidentally, but that goes nowhere.

Maybe there are some fine women here. Do they count?

    4. There are several comments out there up until maybe about 2 weeks ago under practical parsimony that link right back to your blog and as far as I ever saw was the one you used every time you commented.

Not that anyone paying attention would need to go find them to figure it out the language you use is exactly the same as it has always been.

And what do any other women have to do with anything? Trying to stir up some type of gender support in solidarity?

Since you have went from claiming to know nothing about the practical parsimony comments to a string of excuses I think it's pretty obvious whats going on.

    5. Thank you both...let's retreat to neutral corners and catch our breaths. We, as friends and as a nation have far greater problems in our futures. Friends are priceless assets.
