I've always wondered what they look like--pictured them like a donut.
It depends on the baker...some are thicker..but they're all good. Thanks, K.
They certainly sound good to me!
After a bite you'll wanna go home and slap 'ya mamma...
My kids used to make them. Good fun and good eating.
I'd invite the kids over every weekend...
Looks good. Is there a filling?
No, just dust 'em with powdered sugar.
I only had the pleasure of having a batch of warm Bridgettes once in college. It was amazing that all five of them were all named Bridgette but I think two of them spelled it differently.I really miss college :(
Ah, memories. There was this little dental assistant...ugh, never mind.
Is the place off University & I95 still open? They made the most wonderful Beingets. They gave you the powdered sugar in a separate bag to add just before you ate them. I'll have to check now that you have whet my appetite.
No, Deb. They closed over ten years ago...if memory serves. The owners were two older ladies from New Orleans.
Damn. Thanks for saving me the gas.
And Cafe Du Monde coffee... YUM!!!
I keep a can in my pantry...good stuff. Thanks, my friend.
Soooo, what time's dessert??? :-D
I could hurt myself eating those!
