A Little Red Dress

On my way to the ice cream isle I almost collided with a little girl in a red dress. I stepped aside to allow her to pass but the little girl in the red dress instead wrapped her arms around my waste.

I felt love, once again.

We had all of five minutes.

She's so very thin and tiny. And, to me so very beautiful.

When I have composed myself I'll relate the story.

Stephen

  3. Stephen,

What a sweet blessing to run into Little Bit. She has grown, I see a difference in your Grand Daughter. Little Bit has a place in her heart for you and Sweet Wife, don't you ever forget that. You will see more of her as time passes. God Bless you, Sweet Wife and Little Bit. I've placed you, SW and LB in my prayers.

    Be strong for her.
When you are together again - and you will be - these sad waiting days will be the rock-solid foundation of the shared and enduring love of this beautiful child.

Hopefully the chance encounter will soften her fathers heart. (or perhaps she will convince him the occasional visit.)
At any rate, I'm sure it was good for your heart, and soul.
