Rain

We have gray skies and it's cool and the rain falls hard. Now, it feels like December. I enjoy the soothing sound of rain.

I've less than two weeks to increase the bottom line of my business so please excuse me if my notes are less than frequent.

Time for another cup of coffee. Join me, why don't you.

Later.

Stephen

  2. I have forgotten what the soothing sound of rain is. We have not had anything but sprinkles or a 30 second downpour for more than a year. My cup is full and a toast of it to you my friend. With your permission, I have a couple of pictures I would like to send to you by e-mail.

  3. dear sweet one - i am glad that you are enjoying the rain. we are fortunate enough to always have lovely rain here...and i love the sound it makes bouncing off of the plastic-wrapped porch - bahahahahahah! today it is beautiful and sunny and blue and still green - we don't get proper winter until january. we have 4 distinct seasons that last 3 full months each and i love it. you be busy with your busy-ness and come back when you can. just know that you, SW and that gorgeous LB are always in our prayers.

    your friend,
    kymber

  4. I'm glad the weather is more to your liking. Now the customers should seek shelter in your store - and then buy stuff. LOTS of stuff.

    1. I dance with joy when they crowd in and spend good ole fashioned federal reserve notes...worthless as they are of late. Thanks, my friend.

  5. Months back, I had fond hopes of actually driving to Jax and having a cup of coffee with you. Not knowing where you are makes that harder than you'd think. But I'd gladly bring my Cremora.

As for the rain, the inside of our house is so damn damp that I feel clammy!! My neighbor informed me today that - even though it's cool inside - in Florida you still have to pop on the central air just to get the wet out of the house!

    Weird.

    1. Oh, yes...let the system cycle on and off and dehumidify the house. Otherwise, mold. Remember, you're surrounded by water. Thanks, dear lady.

  6. I woke up a couple of mornings ago to find snow on my windshield....

    SNOW!!!!!

Ok, so it wasn't much. Kinda like someone dusted the truck with powdered sugar... but it was snow :)
