Dull Tuesday

Not much new to report. I was very busy yesterday and didn't get a chance to blog...sorry. Ran Birth Mother all over town in hopes she'd find a job. Then I had a doctor's appointment and then back home where I passed out. The evening prior I had another one of those no sleep nights. Doctor did give me a new prescription for the problem. Hope it works.

Boring stuff.

The dude with the Detonics Pocket Nine did come back and I purchased the little booger. She's a pretty and hefty little handgun. Stainless steel. Very nice shape. I'll wring her out this coming weekend.

No rain, in my area, yesterday. Lot's of thunder but zero water. Today I'm sure the rains will return but at least we had one day to dry out.

Time for work. See you nice folks later.

Stephen

  1. Yes, I now have your rain and humidity. The rain is good, but the humidity is so bad you can't breathe outside.

    1. Matt, I hate summer, and it's because of the humidity. It drains a person's energy. Thanks, my friend.

  3. Ya know, it you have extra rain available, we could sure use it. Corn in some areas is starting to curl just a bit and it's only mid-June. Not good!!

Tis a sweet lookin' little weapon there, I'll be interested in how your range report goes.

  4. Good thing I'm not trying to run a gun store. Buying them is easy. Selling would be hard.

You know those guys who regret selling that nice gun they used to enjoy? I'll never be that guy because I don't sell mine. However, I have been known to give one away now and then to the right person.

    That's one reason I'm my father-in-law's favorite.

    2. I too have trouble parting with a personal weapon, my friend, and I have given away a few rifles and handguns in my day. Sent a pistol to college with a niece just recently. Thanks, my good friend.

  6. Nothing wrong with a dull day.

Have you seen MDR post today?? Check it out. He pulled the plug on the farm so to speak and stopped blogging for a while.

  8. Sweet weapon. Nothing fancy and looks rugged enough. You said it was hefty, but if the kick is that strong. . . Makes me wonder why.

    1. Not sure about the recoil. Just reports I've read. I shall find out this weekend. I think 'they' are blowing smoke up our butts on the recoil. The little girl is heavy enough. Even the grips are milled aluminum. Thanks, dear lady.

  9. Man! What tasty morsels come your way! What kind of shop do you have? I had a motorcycle accassory shop for a few years and had signs saying I would trade for firearms. Nada, nothing, zip. Good for you though!

    1. I'm surprised you didn't get more action when you advertised you'd trade for firearms, Dean. I've been business, here, for almost thirty years. People just know if they need or want extra cash where to find me. Thanks, my friend.
