Critter Getter

Last month at my local boomstick store I special ordered and paid cash for a Kel-Tec  Sub2000. It still hasn’t arrived. Normally I’m a patient man but I’m getting weary of waiting because I want this sweet little folding rifle for my ‘get home bag.’ Next weekend I’m taking Sweet Wife and Little Bit (my granddaughter) for a long weekend to the Gulf Coast and it’s about a three hour drive. I always take a rifle on trips. Let’s face it; you never know when the critters will attack.

  1. Better to be prepared and not need than to need and not be prepared. Hope you and the family have a great trip!

  2. Thank you, HossBoss. I plan to sit on the deck and read and nap the entire weekend. Maybe write a post or two if the urge overcomes me.

  3. Well here I am sitting in the driveway, enjoying a nice sea breeze, and have grin from ear to ear. I know you are patient, but I see it wearing thin. The offer is still there.

  4. That looks like a nice piece of gear. I hope you get it soon, they're probably in high demand right now.

  5. Arsenius, they are in demand, especially those that take Glock magazines.
Joe, I know the offer still stands and thank you but I would lose my background check fee. I'll wait.

  6. MDR, they're not all that pricey. They come in two calibers, nine millimeter and .40 caliber S&W. I chose the nine since I have several handguns in that caliber. Each rifle accepts one of there different handgun magazines. The best is they fold in a tight little 16 inch bundle.

  7. My Father in law bought one. We shot it the other day and is was fun. I will say that the sights are maxed out on adjustment and still need some, but all in all, a neat toy. They do get might dirty though. Took a while to clean. The Hillbilly.

  8. Hillbilly, I made my purchase for my get home bag. I like the compatibility of a handgun magazine and ammo being adapted to one firearm.
