Blank

I've tried several times this morning to write a half decent post. A post not related to my current problems. I can't do it. My mind is blank. I have subject matter, ideas, but I just can't get the words to flow. I hate to post filler. Sure, there are a few Youtube videos I could post - but why. News, current events are easily accessible to the general public so for me to bring your attention to such is redundant, silly even, and I shall not take that direction.

Which leaves me with this ramble. I need peace to write. I have two long works stashed away for the day I can sit and give the subject matter my full attention; seems a waste.

This morning my feet hit the deck at 0400. I walked aimlessly about the house. I argued with myself, not sure which took the upper hand.

I need to take a long walk. Until then it's time for a cup of coffee.

Stephen

  1. Try a dose of your favourite music - it's sure to help still the mind.

Try a walk with music - it always sorts me out :) Nothing like a bit of physical exercise with rock 'n roll blasting in the ears to give one a lift...

    2. Btw, Stephen. Last week on Idols the contestants had their "return to their home town" episode. Philip Phillips went home and was greeted by his dad who was packing one on each hip :) Couldn't tell what they were, but just wanted to share that not all Idols episodes are a "waste of time" LOL

Jazz - that's brilaint too, but R 'n R is PERFECT for when I'm really angry - get's to the heart of the matter LOL

    3. And I missed it...probably the best second or two of the show. Then again, like last time here I am reading blogs and answering comments. Thanks, Dani.

  3. Ah, coffee.... Good for the soul :)

Find peace, my friend. Don't worry about writing or followers. Just take your time to do what you need to do for your own peace of mind and heart.
    We'll be here.

    Blessings,
    Red

  4. Understood - I can't write when I not at peace, either. Coffee's good, walking's good ... do what's needful, and we'll wait.

    1. kymber, my sweet friend, I keep asking myself what I've done or mistake I might have made to piss off the Good Lord. I just don't understand.

    2. dear, sweet one - you have done nothing wrong. He just knows who has shoulders that he can lay the heavy burdens on. this matter with Little Bit was going to come to a head eventually - and from the sounds of things, all of her parents are too immature to handle this with her best in mind. that is why He gave You to Her. you have shoulders big enough to handle this. for her. He knows this. He is saving her.

    3. Thanks, Sweetheart. Hugs and kisses always help. I'm trying to save her, I really am, but you'd think the Lord would make it a little easier on me...

  7. You could give us a gun identification test that doesn't involve left handed Spanish knock offs! LOL

In all serious, I hope it calms down -in a good way - for you.

    1. Russell, my friend, it will be a long time before this problem heals. It's in the hands of shyster lawyers and God from here on out. Thanks.

  11. Stephen, I agree with all of your friends. What clears my mind is taking a nice long walk in the country.

    1. I just came home from a long walk along the river and park. Truthfully all it did was remind me of walks with Little Bit taken in the same area. It'll take me a while Sandy. Almost like a death in the family...my best buddy is gone.

  12. Walks are good! Music is good! Range time is good! Some times a long hot shower is enough ...

    1. Thanks, Julie. I'm still here just can't seem to wrap my mind around thoughts and ideas for a decent post. Depression is a booger. But, I'll be fine. So nice to have a new friend. You have a great blog, btw. Shame you must qualify with your handgun every eight weeks to maintain your license. You guys need to kick some government butt down under.
