Numb

Is the best way I can describe myself of late. Guess I've been stuck inside so long ideas for articles have been hard to find. I've taken to books for inspiration and even that tactic has failed.

Please bear with me.

I'm sure as soon as my life returns to some sibilance of normal my muse will return. Until then please take a look at all the nice blogs listed on my sidebar. They're good talented people.

Later.

Stephen

  1. How about a tale of how you opened your gun shop, Or life and times in the military.

    1. What gun shop...you must have me mistaken for that other Stephen...nothing of late interests me. Like my friend says, 'my muse has shanked me.'

    1. Until released by the surgeon I can't lift anything over five pounds....yeah, right. I can wander outside and do...it's just this sticking around the house stuff that drives me crazy. I'm restless. How people retire is beyond me.

Stephen...Stephen...Stephen! Chill out and take a few days off! 'Ya need some time for yourself to do NOTHING. I don't know how you ever find the time to write every single day.
I'm retired (was hard at first) but I love it. After over 50 years of working I enjoy taking time for myself. I was even thinking about starting a blog...but my life is a little too boring now - nobody wants to see or hear about my ornery, adorable chickens!
You have a true gift - open your present slowly! :0)

  4. Phyllis, thank you for the kind and warm comment. Thing is all I have is time off and I'm not used to it. I just draw a blank where my writing is concerned...it's tinkling and bouncing around my mind, yet I just can't get it out. It will arrive soon, I'm sure.
Write the blog. You'd be surprised what people like to read. Home life, as a subject, is comforting and tender to the mundane pressures of life...go for it. I'll be there. Again, thank you very much, and God bless.

  5. You may not be used to being inside so much, but maybe it will help you to heal sooner. At least you are not still in the hospital. And you can drink some good coffee and occasionally cook some of that good food you so enjoy cooking! Your writing will be back, it is right around the corner. Enjoy your time with Little Bit and Sweet Wife. I had a picture of a squirrel I was going to send. .Thought maybe not now, maybe later. It is funny. Feel better soon

  8. Sounds like my January and Februarys. Confinement makes me shut down. But Spring is coming and you are healing and this too shall pass.
