I just took this quiz. Scored perfect. It's a Pew Research quiz of only 13 questions. Only 8 percent have scored a perfect grade.
Most young people, and those pictured here, would fail.
How about you. Give it a shot and let me know how you scored.
It isn't hard, really.
H/T, PawPaw.
Stephen
10/13 dont watch tv blew pictures. I knew the nae but not he visuals.good quiz for current events knowledge
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sourmashed, ten out of thirteen isn't at all bad.
DeleteGot 'em all right. You were entirely correct: it wasn't hard.
ReplyDeleteWell done young lady, well done.
DeleteI got 13 as well... you wouldn't know it by reading "my" blog hahahha :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quiz Stephen :D
My pleasure. Thought it was fun. For those with limited current event knowledge it'd be a bitch...
ReplyDeleteI missed one question and I think that one was because I was going through the quiz so fast, lol! I missed the one about which was controlled by Republicans, house, senate or both. On the other hand...does it really matter? No matter who is in charge, it is business as usual, lol!
ReplyDeleteStill an excellent score, Sweet Lady. Thank you.
Delete11
ReplyDeleteVery good, and thanks for dropping by my humble blog.
DeleteAced it.
ReplyDeleteCraig, of all I knew you'd ace it. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteI missed one, I mis-read the question about unemployment rate. I knew it was about 9% but I thought it was asking what actual actual (real) rate was and I guessed 15%
ReplyDeleteAh, man....you missed one...oh well...thanks, Bubba.
DeleteOnly one I missed was the PM of Not-So-Great Britain.
ReplyDeletedrjim, not to worry, he's not important. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteAs I knew you would...thanks, my friend.
ReplyDelete13 out of 13 although I admit I guessed at the Afghanistan casualties. 1800 seemed a bit high but 1800 seemed too low so I really shouldn't count a guess as correct.
ReplyDeleteAs I've said with others, I knew you'd score well. Guess or no guess. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteYeah, 13. I'm really sad to see some of the percentages that scored less than 5. They are out there voting.
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to bet few under the age of thirty would test well on the quiz...thanks, Bubba.
DeleteI got 9 right didn't know the speaker or which party had the elephant . I also thought more of our guys had died in afganistan
ReplyDeleteCorey, you still did quite well. Thanks, Sweet Lady.
DeleteSweet Lady! Stephen I'm a guy....honest
Deleteyou'd hurt my feelings if i had any
Corey, I'm so very sorry. It'll not happen again. I have a personal friend, a lady, with the same name and every darn time I see your name her face pops into my mind. Again, I'm sorry.
DeleteAced it but I'm white male & middle-aged.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Anon...and I'm a white semi-aged male...thanks.
DeleteI got 12 out of 13, I missed Sonja Sotomayer.
ReplyDeleteOh, well, she's easy to forget. Thanks, my friend.
DeletePerfect. That worries me. Those people that got ten wrong should not be allowed to breed.
ReplyDeleteMudbug I agree...thank you.
DeleteI got two wrong but I think it was because I looked at the questions wrong...That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I got the unemployed number wrong and the deaths in Afghanistan.
ReplyDeleteUnderstandable...thank you, Sweet Lady.
DeleteI got them all but they were way too easy. But someone who spends their whole day playing video games or occupying Wall Street. I could see where they'd only get 1 or 2 questions right.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it was a easy quiz for those that read at least one newspaper a day. Thank you, my sweet friend.
DeleteI scored a 12 of 13. I didn't know the co-founder of apple. lol
ReplyDeleteHey, he isn't that important, just another dude...you've done well, Pretty Girl.
DeleteI got them all right. Number of dead in Afghanistan was an educated guess, I confess, but I was pretty sure of it.
ReplyDeleteI've stopped by before, but I think this is the first time I've commented. :)
Miss M, thanks for stopping by and please do return..
Delete100% Interesting that so much of it was visual - photos rather than just names.
ReplyDeleteSneaky boogers, aren't they...thanks, My Friend.
Delete@Hillbilly, I took a "voting test" once that was mostly pictures. The "tin foil hatter" in me thought is was geared toward making folks who only listen to talk radio seem "ineligible" to vote...
ReplyDeleteACK! I got 9 out of 13! I am so embarrassed.
ReplyDeleteJC
Hey, no sweat...thanks.
DeleteI got 12 out of 13.Missed the co-founder question. But as stated above I'm a white male approaching middle age.
ReplyDeleteDean, we all have much in common...thanks.
DeleteGot them all, but then I thought those were pretty easy questions. Some of those I wish I didn't know, (for instance I wish I had never heard of Sonia Sotomeyer)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quiz though, and for you blog!
Keangnt
My pleasure and thank you very much. I too thought it easy, but for some.....well, you know.
Deletekeangut, you and me both, my friend...thanks.
ReplyDeleteI got 12 out of 13, missed PM of Britain.
ReplyDeleteJames, it happens. Thanks for stopping by...
DeleteOnly one I missed was Greece...wasn't thinking of them as European!
ReplyDeleteTrue, easy enough to make that mistake...thanks, Sweet Lady.
DeleteI got 12 correct. I missed the symbol of islam. And that's just fine by me. But, Sonia Sotomyor and Elana Kagan are both really ugly women so that one was tricky...I barely got by on that one.
ReplyDeleteEasy symbol to miss, no sweat, you did very well. Thanks, Sweet Lady.
DeleteWhich european country is facing a massive debt crisis... I couldn't find the answer "all of the above".
ReplyDeleteI got 10, but to be fair a lot of it's stuff we don't get much of on the news here.
Sad that I did better than a lot of your local folks.
Got 12 of 13 correct. Missed the symbol of Islam but I know one when I see one.
ReplyDeleteI think they're wrong about 1800 lost in combat. I thought I did well to say 18,ooo reported deaths (as opposed to real deaths which I feel is still higher) so 12. My kids failed miserably though. They're over 21 but still... I must of dropped the ball somewhere...
