  2. Yes, but I only want the one hundred round drum...can't afford the full auto's anyway.

  3. I can't imagine loading one of those w/out a speed loader. It would take 20 minutes just to load and you would lose the enthusiasm to go shooting. I will stick with the 20-30 round mags.

  5. It would be worth it just to wave in the face of the Brady bunch(without gun) it should work like a crucifix to Dracula.

  7. Sorry for the delete, my question was sorta vague.

Stephen, in your opinion does having a automatic firearms license put you higher on the 'List' meaning they show up at your door before us common folk that only have CCW, when they start confiscating weapons?

I know the restrictions are far greater, or at least I've heard that such as informing the Government as to the permanent location of those fully auto weapons....

  8. mmasse, very true, but worth it for the fun factor.

Odysseus, exactly...good for you. And, like I said, fun too. Think Zombie attack...

Matt, Okay, first I don't recommend full auto for several reasons. Cost, the primary concern, but otherwise, they just aren't worth the hassle. The expenditure of ammo is silly, if you aren't very familiar with full auto fire, aiming is a (and excuse my language)bitch...
Now, Matt, you don't need a 'per-say license' to own a full auto weapon. All you need are the funds and a tax stamp from the BATFE and a very long wait - at this time about six months. I do have an FFL. Yes, it puts me on that list. But I've held my license for many many years and it's just too damn late for me. They can/will walk into my doorway any time they feel the desire. For the most part they leave me alone. Hope this helped. And, thanks for the 'cool guy' status.

  10. Matt: There is of course another solution, which is 100% legal.

But I would not do this to non-milspeced weapons as the wear from this would have you replacing parts daily.

  11. 100 rounds though? Gonna hurt! And as mmasse has said the parts would have to be replaced on a reg basis! Your wants, I have seen a couple of those now, are quite expensive! You should put them on your Santy Clause list!
