Dirty Girl

I hate a dirty handgun. This little beauty came in today covered in grime.

Her barrel was black as the bottom of a coal digger's butt.

Each cylinder required about twenty passes.

.32 S&W Safety Hammerless, 2nd Model circa 1902-1906.
Isn't that nickel finish purty...the little Lemon Squeezer is in fine shape and as soon as I find a box of ammo we'll take a walk, hand in hand.

    1. They're nice little collector items. Normally I'd just put on the board for sale but this one I'd like shoot just for the heck of it. The trick is the ammunition. I've found one box of fifty rounds for thirty dollars plus shipping. One box. All others are out of stock. How's the weather. We're about to get wet.

    1. Fella said his grandfather used it for horse slaughter duties, and said the old man lost count of how many he'd dispatched with the little revolver. Lands and groves are still sharp. It arrived in a box and according to the son hadn't seen the light of day in over fifty years. I know for certain it hasn't been cleaned in at least that long. Powder residue required a brass brush and copious amounts of Hoppe's and oil. She was so dry, from lack of lubrication, her bones were brittle. She's now happy.

    1. Thank you, my kind friend, for your generous offer but yesterday I placed an order for the box of fifty and will probably only fire five of those and sell the rest. Nice of you to think of me. I hope all is well in your world...
