If it came down to brass tacks, how would you buy things with that? Would you chop it up into small pieces, that's the only way I can think of.
Heat. Small molds. This piece is a tad over eleven ounces, if I remember correctly. Ever held a nice piece of silver over a heat source...it doesn't take much to melt silver. I also own fractional pieces of silver. Or, bring your silver to me and I'll give you a couple cans of beans for it.
I put it on my watch list, just for educational purposes of course! Good luck!
It's fine to bid, Bubba....no problem. Take a chance. Enjoy life. Every purchase in life doesn't need an end of the world purpose, sometimes it nice to make investments in yourself...and of course, an investment in the future. Once upon a time these rare old silver bars could have been bought for pennies....silver is the poor man's gold. Thanks, my friend.
I wonder if the center is full of lead.
What would be so bad about lead in the center....heat and mold.
Lovely! I just love silver....
I like them too. I just can't get past the premium over spot. Only rarely do I purchase one.
