Chicken Fried Rice

I think this will be tomorrows dinner.

Recipe, here. Wouldn't mind adding that Le Creuset pan to my collection too.

  5. Aldi's puts out a knockoff version of lecreuset several times a year. Good stuff, if not quite as good. I tell myself it's the starter set, and if I treat it well, I can graduate to le creuset someday.

Hadn't made stir fried rice in it, though - I'd usually used the wok. But now I'm tempted... thanks for the idea!

    1. You know, Pretty Lady, once you use the real deal you'll never again use a knockoff. There are Le Creuset outlets that sell seconds at deep discounts - those with slight paint imperfections or discontinued color lines. The front line is super expensive, I know. Our American black cast iron is almost as good, if not better but the enamel coating and consistency of manufacturing of the French made cookware is worth the cost. Stuff doesn't rust, either. I bet she used a wok too, then used the pan for her artful picture. Thanks, my sweet friend.
