The Silence

I sincerely apologize for my silence. I've spent the last year and two months proving my existence. This long and aggravating fight came to an end late this afternoon. Needless to say I hate the Patriot Act.

It's a long story and my head hurts far too much to bore you with the details. Maybe later.

Tomorrow I shall open another gate and walk a strange path.

I'll keep you posted.

Stephen

  3. dear sweet one - like keads said - we are always here supporting our veterans! let us know what you need...and if it is only a shoulder to lean on, some arms to prop you up, an ear to listen to your problems, a friend to tell you how much you are loved....we are all here. but i promise that i am here for real. i always have been, and i always will be. i will never forget your wonderful friendship and how many times that you have been there for me. one of the most wonderful things about friendship is being able to pay it back. thank you for your wonderful friendship over the years now...and please know that i, we, would do anything for you. anything. and please - be a good friend and call upon us for help. there is no greater way to prove your love than to call on a friend to help.

    your friend always,
    kymber

    2. you better be fine! i haven't had the *ss-kicking boots out and oiled for the last month. but i'm getting them out tomorrow for a full oiling. and you know that you don't want me to come down there wearing them (although i am pretty sure that PioneerP would cheerlead me all the way down. probably even pay for my plane ticket!)

i really hope that you are fine, hon. just know that i am always here eh?

  4. Life is like a toll road. 'Ya pay, get up to speed and then damn - another toll. I guess it's what keeps us going; we don't have to pay for all those we went through already. Hugs for you and Sweet Wife.

    1. Very well said....thanks, my lovely friend. I did win, by the way. I should have mentioned the fact above but forgot...it's over. Another minor issue to work out tomorrow. Otherwise, I'm fine. God Bless.

  11. I'm thinking of the MAIN battle you shared with us a long, long time ago. And for you to say you "won", you still sound very depressed. I will be here, on the outside looking in, to see just which door you'll be able to open now.

    1. I didn't mean to come across as sad...I'm really fine, just very tired...some people are just very hard to, as they say, 'to deal with.'
