LOVE that picture! But I sure didn't like the blog connected with it. I got so scared reading an anti-gun blog that I left without leaving a comment. Now I know what fear is.
They need glasses and hearing protection or later on when we are praying we'll hear, "What?! what? Can you repeat that, I didn't catch that last word..ceiling, sealing...oh, oh, HEALING...well, okay."
I am os going to steal this. And he left out the part about MLK regularly carrying a gun for self protection. I guess he never heard of the Deacons for defense either.
Honestly, I tried to be nice about it.
ReplyDeleteI know and was impressed with your response. Again, well done my friend.
DeleteThat picture is so filled with win that it's about to collapse into a balck hole of win.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I stole it. Thought it was a great piece for our cause. Thanks, my friend, and hey, take a copy.

DeleteThe Good Lord DID tell his disciples to arm up...
ReplyDeleteIndeed He did...thanks, my friend.
DeleteAnd remember, the sword He told His followers to obtain at any cost, was a personal sidearm: the handgun of its day.
DeleteAnd Gandhi had very strong opinon concerning disarmament...
Wraith, very true. Thank you for the comment and I've linked you. Have a great day.
DeleteThank you, Bubba.
ReplyDeleteFunny how Jesus, Ghandi and MLK are used as examples of non-violent ways to change the world and somehow evidence that we, too, should disarm.
ReplyDeleteSorry. But Christ was killed. Ghandi and MLK were successful in their crusades because civilized people were persuaded by their cause.
Try to reason from noble principles with a mugger coming out of the shadows.
Go on a hunger strike to stop a jihadist from beheading you or blowing up the building you work in - and see how far that gets you.
Well said, Cathy. Your last sentence says it all....thank you.
DeleteOOPS. That's Gandi . . not Ghandi.
ReplyDeleteHey, we're only human...
