Camping is a lot better if no one is hungry and stumbling around in the dark.Is that a 3 burner stove? I wonder how many of those were made?
Yes, Sixbears, its a three burner and Coleman made millions of them. I wish I owned one, but alas, I do not. On Ebay they'll usually sell well north of fifty bucks. Thanks, my friend.
I know a few folks up here who still use those for hunting camp, tailgaters, etc. The griddle is a wonderful feature, too.And yeah, I looked better in '70, too.
Coleman stoves are the best, and sad to say, the good American made stoves are gone forever. In truth, we're still good looking, just older. Thanks, my friend.
That's kinda sexist, a woman in a skirt cooking the meal while her husband and kids in the background play in the water, you can tell I'm extra sensitive today.....but I still like it.
I confess, I'm sexist. Bubba, you worry me. Thanks, my good friend.
Nothing says camping like a skirt and cardigan ;)
Too funny - I bet she is wearing 'saddle shoes'! (or maybe those white Keds - remember them?)
She may be wearing those matching little heels like Beaver's mother wore! Too funny!
Hey, all 'ya leave my pretty girl alone...saddle shoes are not, she's cute.
LMHO, StephenSure is a pain in the rear how all the water under the bridge results in so much snow on the roof. And I used to look a lot like Elvis when we were both still teenagers, LOL. Ahhhhh! Gone forever. Sigh!Winston
I was just downright purty, Winston, when this ad appeared. Purty, I tell 'ya.
She's missing a string of pearls...
You are absolutely right. Good spotting right there!
Now, being a guy I just don't look for pearls. Thanks, my friends.
Memories.... I woke up to almost this exact scene over and over when I was a boy. In 1970 I was 6, and we went camping several times each summer - from earlier than I can remember until I left for college. Every time I crank up my old coleman stove I smile a little bit :)
Memories, same for me. My father was the 'game warden' and we camped all the time. I guess that's why I love old Coleman stuff. Thanks, my friend.
The great outdoors, I would rather be camping and cooking on my outdoor stove too than cooking in the kitchen at home.
You and me both, Sandy...thanks, my dear.
Food just seems to taste better in a setting like that!
Amen. Thanks, my friend.
