My friend, Duke, just left my office. He came in about an hour ago and we sat and chatted about the condition of his sweet mother-in-law.
He is not in a good mood.
I would hate to be the man that pisses him off today.
If you do, run.
Stephen
It's just really too bad that Duke didn't happen to just wander into her house while that crap was going on.
ReplyDeleteMatt, he's words exactly.
ReplyDeleteWe all want to be there to protect the ones we love. I have that fear that as much as I have prepared (and wouldn't want to be the person that decided to threaten my family) it's going to happen when I'm not there. Sometimes, this world sucks.
ReplyDelete45er, that is a fact...we can only hope and pray we there when it happens.
ReplyDeleteour thoughts and prayers are with Duke and his Mother in Law all throughout the day. we wish her a speedy recovery and hope that no one bumps into Duke the wrong way today!
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
kymber
That can't be good.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Matt.
ReplyDeleteI am glad things are getting better. I'm glad the police found the animal, otherwise I have a feeling the local worm population would have had an additional feast. Then I wouldn't get to read Duke's blog.
Sometimes I wish our little family here was closer so we can all cheer Duke up.
kymber, thank you...
ReplyDeleteSixbears, trust me, it isn't. Thanks, and it's good to 'see' you again.
Mudbug, I agree...thanks.
I would do all I could to stay on Dukes good side for a long time. (Itchy trigger finger).
ReplyDeleteI pray for Duke and his family. Hope he has some time to hit the firing range, with a nice target. In My Prayers..
ReplyDeleteKingturkeyoak, thank you very much...prayer always helps.
