I don't blame you.
Lila, I just wonder how many sets, if any, are left in the country. Blue is cool too.
I was in the city today and visited some camping supply stores. I saw a lot of this type of stove, they look pretty handy. I don't know that the ones I saw were this exact model, they all look similar to me.
Arsenius, I used Coleman stoves for most of my life. I work. The ones pictured were made by Coleman for Sears and discontinued many years ago, probably in the early 1970's. They're few and far between now.
Several years ago while fishing, my Dad hooked something big and fought for several minutes to reel in a...you guessed it. An old Coleman sears lantern. We cleaned it up, put in fuel and mantels, sure enough she fired right up. Don't make 'em like they used to.PS-thanks for the ar15.com post. I've been on there several times but never paid any attention to the outdoor tab. Who knew?
HillBilly, your Dad was lucky...those suckers sell for upwards of fifty bucks on ebay now. You are welcome on the tip at AR15. Thanks for coming by and visiting a while.
