We have rain, again, this morning. I've only a second as I've just now hung out the welcome sign, and I'm sure Duke is on his way for morning coffee and things need to be placed just so for customers to arrive.
I'll get back you to on the tease...
Until then, take a break. Grab a corncob and head towards the crib.
Stephen
It's been about 30 years since I last used a wooden privy (as opposed to the plastic fantastic porta-potties). I hope yours is a bit more modern. :)
ReplyDeleteRev., we have a nice wooden privy out at the Boar's Nest. A bit modern but still of wood, with gun magazines and a chewed roll of tp.
DeleteCorncob... oouuuuch! Take some TP or Kleenex instead, hell even the Sears catalog would be better! Oh, and don't forget the reading material! And for Pete's sake don't drop the carry piece in the water! :-)
ReplyDeleteNah, we're hard, errr, men. In fact my grandfather kept a bucket of dried corncobs in his outhouse, and a Sear and Roebuck catalog for the ladies.
DeleteI was about eight when we first lived in a place with indoor plumbing. Try using one on a -30 degree Colorado winter morning.
