Update

I'm still alive. This is the first day in many I've felt like moving around, a little.

Both of our grandchildren are in residence today. Sweet Wife is child caring our grandson, Sport Model, and Little Bit. We'll have Little Bit all week. Sweet Wife has taken a weeks Christmas vacation and they are both busy baking goodies. Sport Model, at a bit over a year old, is rambunctious and demanding of vast amounts of lap time. This would normally be fun but Papa has been declared infectious.

Either way I plan to return to work tomorrow. I haven't the time to be sick. (Please, don't tell on me.)

To my brother's in crime...yes, I'll be at the meeting Wednesday night.

Now, I've much blog reading ahead of me. See you later.

Stephen

  3. That's been my concern about your recovery. Being a small business owner, you are your only backup.

You know the routine, so I won't start nagging at ya...

    Just be careful.

  4. PISSED, I love to rest but I just can't take any more time to recuperate. Thanks.

Duke, I will blow hard and steady in your general direction....coffee will be hot.

Matt, thanks, you get it. I haven't sick leave to fall back on and can only afford a couple of days away...besides, my 'boss' is a butthole. He calls me 'boy' too. Hate that.

  5. Don't try to do too much too soon, Stephen. You can't afford to be out longer than you otherwise would.

If we were in your neck of the woods, I'd send Odysseus to help you out. He's had small business experience, and could probably do the legwork for a bit, while you sat and did paperwork. I'd offer to do it, but I've got the kids.

  6. Glad your feeling better. More lap time is required soon so get rid of that plague.

  7. Keep getting better brother. I loved Little Bit giving you a shot in the last post. Brilliant. There is one upshot to getting ill at this time of year. People are off work and you can have company. Plus there is so much good food around you can eat your way back to health... even if it's only tiny amounts at a time.

  8. Still a bit under the weather myself(I wont say how much since HH reads this blog), take care of yourself if for no other reason than to be able to spoil grandchildren properly for Christmas.

  10. PioneerPreppy, lap time is good but rare of late. Little Bit said she needed time last night, so we cheated for a while...

    Basic, thank you very much...

Mudbug, thanks. Hope you are feeling better...

Odysseus, you can't hide from her....thanks. I'll try.
