What's Cooking

Today, after I close shop for the weekend, I'll run around and find the 'fixins' for a large pot of Andouille Dirty Rice. It's a fairly simple Cajun dish and I like the version found here at Cajunlicious.

Give it a try, it'll put hair on your chest.

  1. It looks great, just don't pop yourself into a food coma. One bowl rice dishes are so simple and amazing.

  3. I looks good, But IIRC Cajun would be too spicy for me. BBQ sauce makes me sweat. lol.

  4. I'd be jealous of that pic if it wasn't for the fact I'm in south Louisiana for the weekend.

  5. sorry Stephen but according to my Dad - eating raw onions put hair on your chest - if you were a male. however, if you were a female, eating onions would make your ..ummm...chest grow. according to my completely deranged father. and he told this to my sister. and my 9yr old sister believed in it. she hated onions - cooked or raw. and ate tons of both throughout her years of 10, 11 and 12. she never grew any real boobs until about 15 or so - but after that - oh man did she grow some. me and my other sister are kicking ourselves for not eating more onions! and man - does my sister have herself some boobs!

yikes- i think i might be sharing too much again eh...please start censoring my comments, dear friend!

  6. I can vouch for Stassja. My boobs have really blossomed from eating the onions.

However, eating oysters counter-effect the onions.
