American Tenderbox

This article goes hand in hand with the current 'flash mod' incidents taking place in our country. This is a quick read so take a look.

Snippet.

For some time now, residents of some US cities have noted occasional incidents of seemingly random, racially motivated violence in which young Black males are involved.  The hot weather and bad economy seem to be combining to generate a small but possibly significant uptick this year.  The national media are doing their best to avoid looking too closely at this disturbing phenomenon, and perhaps for good reason.  What the United States doesn’t need is a media firestorm that triggers copycat violence.

  1. Well, if they see on the news that no one is arrested, no one is identified, and we (mob) outnumber them 50 to 1, then it is a victimless crime. They learn how to steal and hurt in a group, then disband to avoid detection. When they learn how it feels to hurt someone with a baseball bat in the "safety" of a flash mob, then they lose their humanity. When SHTF, they have learned what they need to loot, pillage, and rape to get what they want. It is truly scary.

I know that one day I may have to take a human life to defend my home and the ones I love, but I don't go practicing in the ghetto.

But then again, that's what separates me from them. That, and mountain passes, a desert, and concercia wire.

    Be safe!!

  2. Thanks, Mudbug, I'll try and stay safe. You're in a good position out where you're located. Keep your head down and your powder dry.

  3. I honestly woke this morning and considered OC despite the risks here since my permit is still not back. With the law changes they were flooded with applications so I am not surprised at the hold up but since you need no permit to OC here well..... with things plunging people are finally seeing what we have seen for a while. My area has had some flash mob violence already. This isn't going to help.

  4. Lila, carry concealed. The heck with the law. I'd rather be judged by twelve than legal and dead.

  5. I agree with Stephen. If it goes SHTF, you become a bigger target. If she has a gun and is not afraid to show it, then what good stuff does she have at home? Food? More guns?

    Be safe Lila!!!

  6. Years ago as I trained for my profession they warned us that summer heat often brings on riots and unrest in marginal situations. This is where the color coded threat awareness kicks in. If you use it correctly(it's really just common sense-just a cool name for the uninitiated)it can keep your a$$ out of hot water. We may be circlin' the wagons soon boys and girls. Y'all keep your heads low.
