Here's a story I found on-line. The first chapter is titled, The New Normal. The story is titled, 'The Union Creek Journal.' It's a work in progress. It seems very well written. You decide.
When you arrive your intelligence should take over and give you instructions on how to read the following chapters. If not, oh well.
This is how I've occupied my time on this very slow business day.
Enjoy.
Stephen
Looks interesting. I'll go check it out.
ReplyDeleteIn case I don't make it back here by the weekend, I want to wish you a Happy New Year, filled with great blessings.
Red
Red Woman, it is interesting, and to you and yours, Happy New Year. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephen, another good post. I am reading this story, and yes it does make you think, A LOT.
ReplyDeleteI agree with his thinking about the Gold and Silver, some are going to be hurting with metal and no food, wood, & or firearms.
Just an update on this story, I have been reading it since last night/this am. It is very good. Thanks for the heads up. It is very believable.
ReplyDeleteRob, You are more than welcome. I too enjoyed the story. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteStephen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing out this blog. I think the story makes you think really hard about priorities, and with the new year a week away, make me work on a new list.
BTW, got the wife an iPad for Christmas, and installed kindle reader. It is nice, and I'm reading a ton.
We're getting an orchard and bee hive installed in the spring (my wife pics thoughtful gifts) and reading this to her makes her more motivated to prep.
Mudbug, you're more than welcome. My pleasure. It will get you to thinking, won't it.
