in my experience, most folks scan blog posts... I am sure if there was a government funded research on the subject, the collected data would show that only a small number of folks actually sit and read a blog post word for word. if you are a person that follows 20 + blogs...how can you have enough time in the day to sit, read through them, and then comment.. Kymbers alone takes a person on average about 30 min--and that is on a short day for her..lol
Only takes me a few minutes, but then again I read for relaxation. I've noticed those under forty years of age move their lips when faced with printed materials, and their fingers always appeared chapped from excessive cell phone usage.
Well,to each his own,I guess.I wish your posts were longer,I enjoy your writing and we seem to see the world from a similar point of view.If the writing bothers some,I would say they can click on something else(that has more cartoons, for example)and leave the real wordy stuff to us grown-ups.
What a crock!
ReplyDeleteI'm with mizdeb - your posts are just right, whatever their length. The Twitter generation needs a reality check ... just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Their attention span is about the same length as that of an ant's butt.
DeleteLolz
ReplyDeleteYep....
DeleteHorse feathers your post are fine
ReplyDeleteThanks, Corey.
DeleteYour posts are difficult to read and too long only if you can't understand words of more than one syllable and have the attention span of a gnat.
ReplyDeleteThe critique and comment came from a customer and gave me pause. Kinda hurt my tender feelings....kinda.
DeleteTime to sling some lead at folks. Keep doing what you do so well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rob.

DeleteTell them to go look at a picture book instead. We love your posts and look forward to every single one!
ReplyDeleteYou're a sweetheart, my dear friend. Thank you.
DeleteStephen, this post is too short. And I don't understand it. The words are too simple.
ReplyDeleteGive me a few seconds and I'll try and reboot. Thanks, my friend...give the little one a hug from a long distance friend.
DeleteThat's just whooy! If you have something to write, write it! Most of us read them all the way through.
ReplyDeleteThanks, my lovely friend....your comment is much appreciated. Lord knows I get enough of the other...
DeleteMaybe you should put a notice on your bog that a third grade reading level is required.
ReplyDeleteTried, Russell....they couldn't read it.
