It's hot this morning. In Florida you know it's hot when the air conditioner continuously cycles. Which means next months electrical portion of my utilities cost will increase two fold.
Next time you hear some bubblehead complain about January's cold, slap 'em.

After 6 years in Florida, I am not complaining about the cool temps in MN. The other day with the heat index it was 115 in Kissimmee vs 65 here.
ReplyDeleteI agree, our a/c has run steady for the last few weeks. It only cuts off for brief periods during the night. I think the heat index is about 11,000F which is -145C if I remember correctly. Central Florida, don't visit in the summer, wait until January, then it's lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt's 53 & raining steadily here. Might get all the way up to 63, if we're lucky. Our brief summer seems to have ended.
ReplyDeleteI don't miss the annual stretch of 108 to 112 that we used to get in the St. Louis area ... at all.
Still, I hope y'all get some relief down there.
