Seems we are in for a rainy weekend, which I shall spend alone. SW has hit the road to spend some time with her mother. What to do....
Well, there is a gun show in town. I've a nice stack of books.
Do you suppose the combination of the two would hurt....
I'll let you know.
Stephen
No harm in just taking things easy once in awhile. The gun show would be fun. We had one up here not long ago. I was surprised that there were almost no old World War One or Two weapons, it was all pretty much modern pistols and rifles. Still fun to look around and visit with people, though.
ReplyDeleteHarry, same here with the gun shows. Lots of black plastic firearms, very little if any vintage steel and wood. Once in a blue moon I'll stumble across a Ragnar Benson piece to add to my collection, rare rifle or pistol part - sometimes out of stock ammunition. Mostly I attend as I feel gun shows are truly the last bastion of free thinking men and women. I shall skip today's event and spend it puttering about the house as we again have rain in our forecast. Later, a pot of tea or coffee and back to my books. I should write, but, I haven't the will nor inspiration. Thanks, my friend.
Deletedear sweet one - get yer butt up here! i'll take ya fishing and swimming in the river. i just spoke to jambaloney and he is having himself a fine time. but me, meh, i am just bored.
