thanks. but i already had my 80lb ass thrown 20ft after every time i fired an FNC1 in basic training. try being thrown that far after every round in a 20-round rapid fire exercise and having to climb back up on your sandbag - and remember - it was a race to empty your mag. i'm 40 lbs heavier now, but i am joining forces with the ever intelligent and articulate Sixbears - i gots me a lots of nope too!
There ain't a thick enough recoil pad made that would let my poor old mangled shoulder shoot that thang. But I might have paid a buck or three to watch kymber get smacked around by the FNC1 :-) Never did see anything regarding alleged caliber for that monster - or what legitimate 'sporting purpose' it meets (insert eye roll).
thanks for the vote of confidence Anon...i did fire a 50-cal down on a secret base in the states...mind you - a big strong tough marine was behind me but i don't think he was doing too much 'cept standing there - bahahahahahah! naw - poor guy was handling that gun for me while i tried my damndest to aim it - oh well - i was never in the infantry - intelligence was my trade - and we were never really expected to fire weapons. in fact, here in canada, they would arm grandmothers with weapons in the event of a war LONG BEFORE they would ever arm my trade. i did manage to qualify as a marksman every year - but that was 15 years ago when i was still a youn'un.
Ow. There are some experiences simply not worth the pain involved. Heh.
