The link dealt a lot with shot patterns. It is my understanding that to avoid certain restrictions/taxes on the pistol 410 they are made with a rifled barrel. Thus the manufacturings take certain steps to re-reguralize the shot distribution.
At my local pistol range, people using this type of weapon at plausible pistol ranges (20 to 30') but some nasty size holes in the paper. Not sure what their load is, but there is not much dispersion at all.
All steel might be kinder on your wrists but I'm not sure Single Action would make for the best OMFG!SNAKE! gun.

Russell, correct, the weapon is for short range shots only, read gut shots...it will also chamber .45 Long Colt, thus the rifling. Thanks.
