Duke

My good friend, Duke will be off the air for a few days. He has a family emergency, a very bad one, for which I'll let Duke explain...but trust me, it'll make you grit you teeth in anger. It's bad folks.

He called me a few minutes ago and I'm still pissed.

Say a prayer, and please, arm yourselves before you answer a knock at your door.

    He'll be in my prayers tonight.
    And the first year I lived with my wife-to-be, she thought that my being armed on Halloween night as I gave out the candy was "funny".
    Then she read of a home invasion based on the pretense of "Trick-or-Treat".
    Now she never questions my pistol at my side in the house.

    Corey, you probably won't find out for awhile. If you read between the lines on Stephen's post, it's not hard to guess, that there might possibly be legal issues involved.

    I certainly don't know that for a fact and know only what is in Stephen's post.

    To all our good friends, I thank for your prayers on behalf of Duke...he, is fine.

    Corey, since you asked it's not my place to tell his families story, he asked me to only make notice of his absence. It's his story to tell. Even I haven't had a chance to see the news story. It's been on the local news all day. I'm sorry.

    Any friend of yours Stephen deserves my prayers and best wishes. I admit I am very interested to find out what happened as well. Duke's blog was very interesting and I just discovered it the other day. I hope everything turns out well for him and his.
