My good friend, Duke will be off the air for a few days. He has a family emergency, a very bad one, for which I'll let Duke explain...but trust me, it'll make you grit you teeth in anger. It's bad folks.
He called me a few minutes ago and I'm still pissed.
Say a prayer, and please, arm yourselves before you answer a knock at your door.
Stephen
I do that already, but thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of love and prayers.
ReplyDeletemmasse, on behave of my friend, and myself, thank you..
ReplyDeleteMatt, I know, and you are welcome.
Lila, sweet lady, thank you.
Praying, too.
ReplyDeleteI learned my lesson about being armed in my home. (Not gonna share that though.)
I hope we all learn from this.
Duke will be in my thoughts.. I hope everything works out okay.

ReplyDeletePraying as requested!
Shar
He'll be in my prayers tonight.
ReplyDeleteAnd the first year I lived with my wife-to-be, she thought that my being armed on Halloween night as I gave out the candy was "funny".
Then she read of a home invasion based on the pretense of "Trick-or-Treat".
Now she never questions my pistol at my side in the house.
Where do i find out what happened to Duke? I checked his blog but nadda. I'll pray for him anyway.
ReplyDelete+Praying for Duke here.
ReplyDeletePrayers sent.
ReplyDeleteCorey, you probably won't find out for awhile. If you read between the lines on Stephen's post, it's not hard to guess, that there might possibly be legal issues involved.
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't know that for a fact and know only what is in Stephen's post.
I hope he's ok.
ReplyDeleteTo all our good friends, I thank for your prayers on behalf of Duke...he, is fine.
ReplyDeleteCorey, since you asked it's not my place to tell his families story, he asked me to only make notice of his absence. It's his story to tell. Even I haven't had a chance to see the news story. It's been on the local news all day. I'm sorry.
mmasse - thanks for the beautiful prayer for Duke. we will be praying with all of you for Duke and his family.
ReplyDeleteDuke - whatever it is - we are feeling your pain. and are mad as hell with you!
