Bless Her

I'm a man. I fought and bleed for my country. I'm a member of the gun culture. I've been called a 'hard man' by many. I seldom if ever tolerate unmanly behavior in other men.

But this, my friends, was hard for me to watch because, I've had, far in the past, the same thoughts that - well, watch and you'll understand.

  2. I know that people are driven by what seems to them like a need to end themselves, however when you are a parent you give up yourself to continue yourself in your children. There are extreme circumstances where a child is better off without their parent in their life. But barring outright abuse(which in my mind cedes the honor of being a parent) I can't think of circumstances where a child is better without you alive.

You don't kill yourself while you have kids, AND YOU ESPECIALLY DON'T DO IT WHERE THERE WILL BE ANY CHANCE YOUR KID IS THE ONE WHO FINDS YOUR CORPSE!

I'm glad this young lady seems to be coping with her loss and trauma. But a parent shouldn't have caused it.

  6. Dear Stephen - i can't watch it as i have read the comments and can guess what it is about. i had a friend in college who called me up and asked if i wanted to come over and study. i went over about 2 hrs later and - well - you can guess what i found. it was an awful, horrible thing to experience. i can't imagine finding a parent if that is what the video is about. but i can't watch it and i just want you to know why.

    your friend,
    kymber

  7. kymber, sweet lady, I understand and I'm fine with it...I've dealt with two over the years. Didn't find them, thank God, but time heals all wounds. This young lady is stronger than others and has found some peace in her heart.

  9. It is Always bad when you find a loved one Dead. Dead is dead. Suicide--depression, two very common things intertwined at times. Sometimes people see the signs, and some just don't care. If everyone thought about what it would do to the others they leave behind...there wouldn't be any suicide. Depression is widespread nowadays..

  10. Kait "will be" 16 on October 27th. Her Mom died on the 5th.

She has the wherewithal in less than 3 weeks after he mother's death to post this video. That is not only a testament to the character of Kait, but to her mother, as well. Despite what eventually happened to her mother, she was able to raise quite a daughter.
