Coffee Time

I can't bake worth a flip. Just being honest here. Which leaves me no other choice but to ask my Sweet Wife if she'll whip out a batch of these for me. In the meantime I'll be out back on the deck, when the rain eases off, shooting a mess of armadillos for tomorrows breakfast.

Y'all come, hear...

If you too would like to try this nice coffee treat the recipe is, here.

Enjoy.

    1. Yep, read it, and guess what...I've bounced CB caps off 'em myself. Thanks, my friend.

  3. Wow! That's a lot of rolls from the recipe...I'd probably add some pecan halves before pouring on the frosting.

  6. Be careful with those armadillos. They carry Hanson's disease, otherwise known a leprosy. A number of people have recently come down with it in Florid.. There are an unusually high number of leprosy cases cropping up in Florida. .Google it.

Experts said they believe the spike is because of people coming into contact with armadillos.Florida typically sees two to 12 cases of leprosy a year, but so far there have been nine cases in 2015

    1. I raise a half dozen or so under my back deck, which is a huge deck. Two or three are fairly tame and allow me to hold them. I lick their lips...kinda bitter with undertones of lemon.

  8. How do you cook armadillo?? Does it taste like "chicken"? Anyhoo, I think I'll just stick with the cinnamon rolls. They look pretty yummy!

  9. I bake them...but first you've gotta shuck that shell. Put the critter on his back and follow the skin line, remove shell, dismember or quarter the body. Soak overnight in heavily salted water. Remove the next night and bake as you see fit. Taste a bit like skunk.
