You'll never believe what happened....go ahead, try.
My mother-in-law asked Sweet Wife to ask me for a link to a company that sells emergency preps, survival food. MIL stated she was worried about the condition of the world.
Well slap me silly....
Seven years I've tried to get my wife's family on board. Seven years. Goes to show even the elderly are able to learn new tricks.
Bless her.
Stephen
Just goes to show. You never when something's going to sink in.
ReplyDeleteWake up calls are a bitch...
DeleteThanks, my friend.
Maybe, slowly but surely some are waking. What company do you use?
ReplyDeleteI use Emergency Essentials out of Utah...nice people, Mormons. Free catalog.
DeleteThanks, Bro.
A number of people have mentioned that more and more individuals are starting to at least take some basic steps in order to provide for their own welfare if things go sour. To be honest, anyone who keeps up with current events and has any sense would be forced to go that route. As for the people who don't see any further than the edge of their lawn, not much can be done about them.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Harry. Those with vision problems are bait...
DeleteThanks, my friend.
That is wonderful! Gives me hope that most of my family will wake up. So far, their plan is to come to my house because I have the food. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteSad to say my MIL is the only member of my wife's family to wake. Thanks, sweet lady.
DeleteMy mom, now 83, still cans veggies from her garden. Had a pretty good supply of store-bought canned goods last time I was there, too.
ReplyDeleteVery intelligent lady, you're mom...thanks, Bro.
DeleteWhat do you mean, "even the elderly"? Where I come from, us old folks grew up putting food by for hard times. Bet we could teach you a few new tricks, young 'un.
ReplyDeleteNow who you calling, youngin? Bet I'm older than you.....you frisky little girl....
DeleteThanks, Sweetheart.
bahahahahah! Tewshooz just owned you Stephen - bahahahah! but i am very glad that your MIL is becoming interested. the more people who wake up before it hits the fan, the better off we'll all be. loved your post about the doctor visit!
ReplyDeletesending love. your friend,
kymber
Back at 'ya, sweet kymber...thanks.
DeleteWhich reminds me, have been thinking of buying some more dried stuff recently. I prolly have at minimum a month's very boring canned but canned needs cycled out so I've slowly added to dried.
ReplyDeleteDried stuff good...tasty it is. Go for it. Rule the day.
DeleteThanks, Bro. Good luck with the hay.
That's great news! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! :-)
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteMy sweet little wife thinks I'm kind of silly for making sure we have enough "stuff" to weather out a catastrophe, but as long as it doesn't impact our budget (and I make sure it doesn't) she's cool with it.
ReplyDeleteAfter all, we live in "Earthquake Country" out here, and people really should have some preps.
I just avoid telling her I'm preparing for a man-made "earthquake"!
Yes, we prepare for all emergencies. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteTell her she needs to buy lots of ammo to trade to you for food :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's ammo with the firearm....
DeleteWill do. Thanks, Bro.
After all 47% say the white house is doing a bad job. A miracle for sure, time to play the lotto??? lolo
ReplyDeleteAh, what's five dollars a week....
DeleteThanks, Rob.
