  1. Enough? I'd say we have had way too much already. I think that anyone who says, "Can't possibly happen here." should watch this video.

    2. re written to clarify....

Vicki, I think the problem is not that we have those who don't think it can happen here, it that's we have roughly half a country to think it's appropriate for this to happen. Go here and read what this individual said in the comment section..... makes me ill.

It's people like this that enable this to happen. They not only allow it, but by default they actively endorse it.

    3. Vicki, thanks my dear lady.

Matt, I just left a comment at the link. Funny timing. Thanks, Bro.

    4. Thanks for saying that over there, no need to let the "one nut" crowd monopolize the comments.

    5. Matt...I agree with you about those who think that this sort of action is appropriate. They are the same ones who will stand in line to drink the Kool-aid.
I am surrounded by people who haven't a clue about what is going on in Nevada right now. They have their Smart phones and big screen TVs and big box stores, so they are happy. And because they have not seen government in action in their own back yards, they just don't care. And I am told that my tinfoil hat is on too tight.
I'm not sure which group is the most dangerous. Both scare me.

  2. Another Ruby Ridge coming up, folks. I just read that 20 cowboys rounded up some of the cattle and took them back to the ranch, amid the FEDS who just watched. Yahoo! Wake up. Amerika

  3. Another thing,,,,.where is that bigmouth Harry Reid in all this. Him and his corrupt land deals. Why is he not jumping to the defense to his constituents? Maybe they did not bribe him or contribute to his campaign. And they want to take away our guns? I don't think so, Bubba.

  4. Tic, Tic, Tic...Could this be the start of something bigger, going down all across America ?? We all should be worried.

Oh wait is that a group of black SUV's coming down the road?? No. I guess I was wrong this time.

  6. If I was there, i will say what i want. I'm hearing they had "First amendment areas"? GTFOOH, first amendment has boundaries, called the United States of America, i will not stand in a roped off area and express my opinion. if I was there voicing my opinion, point a tazer at me, see what happens.

  7. Well that was entertaining. I seriously don't understand why so many preparedness and/or patriot/conservative bloggers link to that dumb chit desert rodent.

Ya know this entire issue comes down to the same thing most all the issues boil down too these days. The Urbanites should have zero say in laws effecting rural dwellers. This is what you get when you take a Constitutional Republic and turn it into a mob rule Democracy that caters to the masses, especially the whatever new masses they can get. BLM is caving under to enviro-freak groups for political reasons and it isn't really about environmental issues it boils down to them wanting to close the land to everyone really.

    1. Very well stated, my friend. Thanks, and you're correct about the scrub rat. I tend to ignore those blogs when possible. Thank you.

    2. The Forest Service is not far behind. My DH worked for USFS for 30 years and they want to close thousands of miles of roads and access. They need to be reminded that this is OUR land. Rats are vile vermin. especially the human kind.

    3. Your husbands US Forest Service was vastly different than this current version. Just ignore liberal, my dear friend. He's lost and ill.

  9. This as a fiasco that has several elements of folks in the wrong. First, the Bundy's. Pay the grazing fee like every other person running livestock on public land. Think that is wrong? Too high? Use your cattleman and/or cattlewomen association, the Grange, etc. to fight it.

Now for the asshats in BLM and their close cousins in the USFS, NOAA, NPS, etc. You send out a supervisor to the Bundy Ranch. Conversation goes something like this. "Mr. Bundy, you need to remove your cattle from public land. By law, if you don't, we need to remove them, and we will." No different than a failure to appear warrant; simple law enforcement procedure.

Instead, you have every jackwagon with an axe to grind, and every control freak simple serpent, lining up to get in a pissing contest. This will probably crash the YouTube servers.

    1. They shouldn't have to pay fees either. The very nature of that land dictates the way it was set up. In order to encourage ranchers moving there the range laws and agreements were set up and deemed transferable. Water and other improvements have been made by the previous ranchers and current family for generations and then about 1990 or so the government, under pressure from enviro-freak groups changed the rules.

Just another example of those with no skin in the game and no knowledge of how things are done trying to ruin a way of life. If we had a true Republic with the original checks and balances in place this would be impossible.

    2. Agreed, this is more formerly known as the 10th Amendment. Land management was never a responsibility expressly given to the fed .gov, therefore any concerns lie with the states.

    3. All good points. I haven't a problem with Mr. Bundy's fee. That's between him and the accountants. The collection of those fees by the feds and their actions bug me. Dogs and tasers on innocent men and women, not so good.

Agree, Matt. it's an issue for Nevada, not BLM.

  10. This has been getting a lot of press. I saw an article about it. It's a fairly complex issue I guess.

I know a lot of the ranchers have been pressing for slaughtering the wild mustangs so their cattle can eat the grass. I'm not with that. But I do feel for this particular guy.
