Has a wonderfully soothing quality, doesn't it.
This evening I believe I'll put my feet to rest and read by lamplight, but not before I search Ebay for a vintage leather holster for one of my favorite handguns. Wish me luck.
This rain is nice indeed.
Goodnight, my friends.
Stephen
The sound of the rain is a gift we are given that makes us forget the not so nice stuff for a little while.
ReplyDeleteVery well said, Dear Vicki. Thank you.
DeleteRaining up here too, and just cold enough to have a fire in the fireplace so I got us one going. Supposed to get stormy tonight then colder tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOur morning is dark and wet. The forecast is for heavy rain and intermittent thunderstorms for the next few hours. But I'm kinda like the old Indian....look at rock, if rock dry....that kinda thing.
DeleteThe rain is nice here too. Have a great night and good luck on the holster.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keads...I struck out on the holster. Well, did find one but the guy was awful proud of it and wanted far more than I'd be willing to pay. Have a great day.
DeleteRain and wind here today. Sleeping weather
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. Snuggle tight.
DeleteI sent you guys that rain last night.... Enjoy it and your welcome.
ReplyDeleteHey, it's very much appreciated. The rivers here are out of their banks. Has me a tad bit worried for our Boar's Nest...no doubt the range has standing river water.
DeleteAre those your lanterns in the picture at the top?
ReplyDeleteI do so wish, Dear Linda, but sadly no. File photo off Google. I do like the wood cookstove. Ono of these days I shall snap a few pictures of our oil lamps...we own many. Some very, very old. We have miniatures to huge and all work correctly.
DeleteVery nice refurbishment! :-)
ReplyDeleteNah, me dreaming....
