Roy Rogers

I have pen and pad in hand and a pile of fluttery paper slips to total and categorize. So while I'm otherwise occupied please enjoy the show.

Until we meet again...

  1. Good luck with the paperwork, and good choice on the video! He was my hero when I was a lad ... and still is.

    1. I was flabbergasted at how many memories the show awakened within me. Dale sure was a cutie pie. Did my cat win the race?

  4. You have no idea of all the RR stuff I had as a kid: the guns, hats, stick pony, autographed pictures and toys. The best was the RR chuck wagon set with a Nellybelle jeep that had a hood that flapped up and down when you rolled it on the ground. Thanks for the sweet memories. Stephen! :0)

    1. And don't we wish we had those treasures now...all boxed and new.

  5. I have an unopened bottle of Hop-a-long Cassidy hair dressing somewhere in my stuff. I guess that counts.

    1. Sure, it counts. Open it and slap it on and walk downtown.

  6. I'm right there with Chickenmom, I had all of that stuff too. I have not thought about my old stick horse in years. I named it Candy.
I also had a rocking horse, that I would set up in front of the TV to watch Roy Rogers, Wagon Train, Bat Masterson, and countless other shows. I also had the Roy Roger chuck wagon lunch box.
