Just a quick one here...
In my last post I mentioned my nighttime radio activities, how I enjoy shortwave....thought I post this link for your listening pleasure.
Primetime Shortwave. It's a very helpful guide and has most frequency listings. I always check the last update and print. This is a private endeavor so if you've the means and enjoy global shortwave broadcast and the QSL card collecting hobby - throw the man a bone.
Gotta run. The bell, she rings.

I have great memories listening in my grandpas kitchen of us all listening to the radio. Grandpa also had a Ham Radio in which he talked to others as far as Australia and the like. I have fond memories of living with Grandpa and watching him with his "toys" while drinking his JD nightly. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeletePs Hubby and I had the priviledge of watching the Band of Brothers the other night and it was a wonderful show in which everybody who has any sort of pride in America should watch. What those boys went through for us what a sacrifice!
Great memories indeed...just the other night I listened to an Australian broadcast. Band of Brothers is a wonderful movie and I watch it at least once a year. Thanks, my lovely friend.
DeleteA short wave set would be cool to have. I'm use to CB radios. Is there such a thing as a short wave mobile unit? As long as it does not take up the back of my truck.
