The Swap

Believe it or not I just swapped a fella a five dollar rucksack for a one hundred dollar Case knife. Me, all smiles.

This tiny little fella is a Case XX Silver Script Autumn Bone Texas Toothpick. You will notice the script 'Case' isn't backed by a standard badge. Rare. Manufactured in 2003.

One man's junk, is another man's .......

  1. Some people have all the luck. One of these days, I'm gonna take a week or so just to sit in your shop and see if I can figure out how you do it.

  6. Nice swap, bud. Sorry I haven't weighed in lately. I saw this and thought about you; seemed something you'd write. Pretty powerful stuff.

    1. Thanks, Bubba. I understand you've had your hands full with your sweet wife. Had to dig your comment out of the spam folder. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

  7. Good trading, but.......not worth anything until someone hands you money (or something of value) for it.

Once took in a fairly rare truck at a very good price. Sat on our lot for nineteen months.

    Still, smart trading.

    4. Ah, no big deal. Thing is I know hundreds of guys and their personal collecting habits. Normally, if I buy it or trade for it I know I can easily move the item.
