Take A Guess

Take a look at this awful cell phone snapshot and guess where and what I've done for the better part of my day....go ahead, take a guess.

Sadly we have become victims of our new healthcare system. We're now under a new plan and I had to change doctors - both primary and cardiologist. Today was 'get to know you' day. Said, "Howdy, Doc." Then had to have all my prescriptions renewed. What a crock.

Oh yes, you're day's a coming.....

  1. They got me a few months ago. Same deal - come meet the new doctor, your old one has gone concierge medicine.

A real pain in the a** for no good reason.

    1. Isn't it though....we were forced to change or lose our health insurance. Had....Had, to change doctors, hospital, whole nine yards. Pisses me off.

  2. Never say never they say.... But I am hoping I go like the last 3 generations of men in my line have went. No doctors, no pills, flat out running until they drop. My Father seems to be on this trajectory as well at 74 he got sick once a couple years ago and then when they started the whole doctors visit a month thing said "No thanks" and hasn't went back. No amount of encouraging, begging or pleading will make him either he says he wants to be doctor free until the time comes.

We will see if I have the meddle for it though.

    1. For a few extra years of life...when I should have been dead several times over, for real, I will use the doc's and their black hat medications in order to spend a few more years with those I love. But, I do understand you stance. Thanks, my friend.

  3. Been there after we came home. I wanted to see my old Dr. Didn't happen. I don't like new one. They can only spend 10 with you before they move on. Old Dr would spend as much time as needed. I always runs late, but that was OK with me.

  7. We're going through the same issue. I haven't been able to get my prescriptions renewed due to insurance company changes. Good thing I got 90 days worth before the 1st of January.

  8. We've been fortunate so far - still on company-provided healthcare, with the same doctors. Still trying not to see them too often, though.
