Everyone of you should own one of these little beauties along with a couple of gallons of fuel. Especially those of you tucked away in a city apartment. YouTube is your friend for instructions.
This little beauty is a Coleman 502 single burner cook stove, dated 1962, and is in almost new condition.
Take a chance and bid here.
I speak from experience. You never know when the zombies will attack.

I have one but not that model. They work great and have a nice case for it too.
ReplyDeleteAh, well, see below. I'm half asleep.
DeleteThey do work well. I own several and one is a full kit, but not telling you anything you don't know. I believe everyone should own one...these are the last of these wonderful little Coleman stoves. It'll boil a pot of water quick as a flash. Have a great weekend, Bubba. See 'ya later this month, if not before. Give the boys a hug for me.
ReplyDeleteThat would be perfect for me - city apartment and all. Thanks for the idea. I'll keep my eyes open for one - or two.
ReplyDeleteOne is enough, Vicki, they're very reliable. Just click the link. Thanks, Sweet One.
DeleteWe have had one of these for ages...and a single burner Coleman that uses propane bottle as backup. And a 3 burner that we used to use camping..I guess as a backup backup. They are all neat stoves. Reliable. We carry ours in the truck as part of the survival pkg. DH built a nice case for it. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteSee, I knew not only are you beautiful but far brighter than the average star. Your DH is a sharp cookie too. Thanks, my lovely friend.
DeleteGot the propane version .. great for backpacking.
ReplyDeleteYes it is...the smaller Peak from Canada (by Coleman) will fit the bill for backpacking as it folds into a smaller package.
DeleteI wonder if you can still gets parts for old Coleman gear. I have a nice Coleman space heater that burns propane, but part of the burner is missing. I emailed them but they never answered me. I looked on Ebay and found the actual heaters, but I just need a part.
ReplyDeleteYes, Harry. I ride over to your place and leave a link...well, maybe I'll share it here too. https://www.oldcolemanparts.com/home.php
DeleteI got lucky some time last year and found 5 dual fuel Coleman single burners on sale for $10 each at Wal Mart. 4 live here now, 1 at a friends house.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great deal, Bubba. I do though prefer the older models. Heck, I like all old things. I don't consider a truck worth a spit unless its at least twenty years old. Mine, is fifteen. Almost broken in at nineteen thousand miles. If you find an older model, grab it.
