Top of the Morning

To you....

For two days I've been locked in a phone battle with bureaucrats. Hopefully the fight ends today. I've been engaged with this struggle for over a year and a half, and I'm bloody with crusty scars, all because of the Patriot Act.

Would you believe I haven't had a single cup of coffee this morning....

Stephen

  2. Patriot Act + dealing in gun sales/trade. Yeah, but that adds layers.

    1. It, unfortunately, has nothing to do with gun sales....I'll explain later, if I win. Thanks, my friend.

  3. Ugh! And no coffee, too boot..... now you'll need a shot of 'tonic' added to said coffee to 'settle the nerves". HA! Hope the dust settles. Best wishes to you & Sweet Wife.

  6. Could be worse. This guy was lucky in his one way fight that the Fla. deputies displayed their usual accuracy.
"Florida deputies shoot man they mistook for car thief in his own driveway" I used to help qualify some of them in Tampa. http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/31/us/florida-police-shooting/index.html?hpt=ju_c2

    1. Remember, the police are our friends. Damn shame, isn't it. Thanks, my friend.

  7. That doesn't sound good. Whatever is going on, I hope it works out right for you. My own interactions with the government have largely been routine but unpleasant, like audits.

    1. It's just a pain, Harry. A pain, aggravation at its highest, and expensive, and I'm tired of the wait. Thanks, my friend.

    1. It's not so much trouble. Just a technical glitch that requires lawyers and state flunkies to correct. Thanks, my friend.

  10. But just think of all the information you have gained on THEM. Now that you know how 'they' work, you can be one step ahead of 'em next time. Good luck, Stephen!
