    Yellow rice, YUM!!! I love chicken with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. It's like your in heaven. I haven't had this meal since leaving Florida. Enjoy dinner tonight!

    1. Hit your local market...they should have the plantains and yellow rice... tinned black beans are better than none. You can do it....

      Local markets here don't have plantains. I've tried. We do have the chicken and black beans.

  3. Funny you should post this - I was just thinking of you because I am making your shrimp creole tonight, but I'm using chicken instead of shrimp...I guess I'd call it the "poor man's version"...lol. We sure do love that recipe :)
