My Day Off

I promised, yesterday, I'd write today. Made a liar of myself. This is my day off and here I am at work. I just can't catch a break. Business has been steady since I opened the door.

So, in the meantime click, here. You will not be disappointed. This young man can write.

Chris has also written a book. When I have a chance I'll download it to my Kindle. I recommend you do the same.

Big hat tip to, Tam.

From under the rain in Florida, stay safe out there.

Stephen

  1. Good deal. get it while you can.

I have a feeling it will dry up soon if certain groups get their way.... and I think they will. Too many gutless rino's and conservatives with no spine.

    1. I just need a wee bit of peace to write...but, I can't complain when bread is needed for the larder. Thanks, my friend.

  3. Glad business is good for you, but too bad you had to work on your day off. :(

Rain there, but a howling blizzard here. Not fit for man or beast at present.

    Take care...blessings!

    1. The rain is very heavy here with slight floods, tornado warnings. I'll trade you. God bless you too.

  4. Yep, glad business is picking up... But a day off vs. a day's pay... Well, "I" am not rich enough to even think twice about taking the work...

    1. I understand. I've made a six day work week standard in my life. I take a half day on Sunday with my wife then try and stay ahead of yard and house chores the rest of the day...makes for a long week. But, we're both lucky compared to some. Thanks, my friend.

  5. Called in today to cover sick folks. Short pay for a short day but the Credit Union will accept the direct deposit. Almost enough to fill my tank.
