Now, This is Progress

Snippet:

Applications for the permits in the state of 19.1 million people have doubled since 2007. Only 0.3 percent of the more than 2 million total permits issued since 1987 have been revoked, said Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.

Story here.

New Yorkers have collectively peed their panties.

  2. 2 million permits? I'm guessing there are nearly that many illegal handguns in NYC alone. :^)

    1. Of late, the powers jump on any chance to try and prosecute any legal shooting in spite of the law...sad part of it is there are those stupid enough to believe the law is a legal means to murder. We had one last week. Sure makes it hard on the law abiding license holders. Thanks, my friend.

  5. If there is one silver lining in the pile of crap the last four years have brought us (and the next four are sure to bring) - its the upswell of gun purchases, gun permits, and general gun related goodness.

    1. Joy, if your firearms were purchased in Florida, they are not registered. The only paperwork you filed should have been nothing more than a form 4473 which is held at the gunshop. This is the form the feds use to check you background.

  11. Pitchpull, http://pitchpull.blogspot.com/ is moving to Destin. We want to meet him and his wife at my sister's condo in Panama City (beach) and we hope you and your dear wife could get there too. It won't be until spring/summer, but think about it!
