dear sweet one - we are celebrating American Thanksgiving today - it is a beautiful day out and i have apple sauce cooking on the stove and smelling the house up really nice - along with turkey smells! (i am making apple sauce as we haven't yet gotten out and picked any cranberries - duh!). anyway - just wanted you to know that we have spent the morning talking about all of the things that we are grateful for....friendship being high on the list! and we thank you for your wonderful friendship...as it is because of you that we started a blog and that led to many more friendships - none of which we would have had without your persuasion. we have also met many great friends here on your blog.
all in all, we have much to be thankful for. we'll be saying Grace and mentioning you and SW. we'll be thanking Him for your friendship. and we'll be thanking Him for keeping LB in His sight as we know that He does. LB is never far from my thoughts...and as hard as it is right now...i know that it will all work out.
thank you so much for your concern, care and friendship. your friend, kymber
Happy Thanksgiving, Steven - and to the better half as well. We have, not one, but two all-out Thanksgiving dinners to eat tomorrow. One at my folks for lunch and one at Mrs. Paladin's folks for supper.
That uncomfortable straining sound you may hear outside tomorrow is my britches reaching the failure point :)
My friend, two meals like you've mentioned would kill me for sure. I hope you and yours have a great day. Twenty years ago I'd be out in the woods swinging a shotgun after ducks...ah, life, it sure zips along at a quick pace.
I'm still a hippy at heart. I'm a fantastic cook, but I always raise a ruckus when I'm TOLD what to do by the calendar. So tonight we ran to Publix and picked up our already cooked turkey dinner. Mama ain't obeying no $6 calendar from Kmart.
happy thanksgiving to you and yours friend!
