One of These Days

I shall surprise my lovely wife with this morning view.

She has asked for a Tuscan visit for years.

Guess it's time for me to dust off my passport.

  1. How are you going to get all that EDC over there? You may have to put in a call to the Sicilians. (in a whispery Brando voice) I will do you this favor, but...

  2. Your a brave man my friend. I would no more travel more than a days walk away from my farm than I would dump all my ammo at a gun show. The times they are just too shaky at the moment.

  4. That would be so great for you to do that for Sweet Wife. It just might help her depression and give you both a change of scenery for a short while.

    Blessings!

  6. Really? Seriously? You are a sweet man to do this for your sweet wife. I'm with Pioneer Preppy on the travel thing, but it's very nice of you to do this for her.

    1. Yes, indeed...seriously. Not sure when, or if I can convince her to leave with our situation still unsettled, but I shall try. Thanks, dear Kathi.

  8. Stephen,

This will be a great surprise for Sweet Wife and a nice change for the both of you. Bring yourselves a hearty appetite and don't drink the tap water, only bottled.

  10. I'm with Izzy (& others) - Go for it!

We went one month after 9/11/01 (20th Anniv. present to ourselves). People said we were crazy but we had a blast.
