I came across this website while at AR-15. Check it out.
Snippet:
Someone on the Homestead Survival Facebook page asked me, if there’s no way to get to a doctor, how does a person get rid of pinworms? Good question. There are plenty of home remedies, but there’s little objective proof they work.
Yes, he's a real doctor.

Garlic? That seems to be a remedy for everything. I think if it comes to survival, I'm starting a big garlic garden and learning how to jar bacon and distill liquor. With those things I will be able to buy anything else I want. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a fact. Everywhere you look, it's garlic is good for you. I use a ton when I cook. Between garlic and olive oil I think a person can whip any illness. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteThanks for the link. Good useful site. Handy for those of us without health insurance too. We cobble together health care the best we can.
ReplyDeleteYes it is indeed, Sixbears. I've bookmarked it too. Thanks. Hey, send some rain our way...
DeleteThat is what we do too. The Internet is my doctor now.
DeleteI think a good back up is some home medical books. In a survival situation the internet may not be an option.
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact, Bubba, I have a library of medical books stashed in a heavy black bag under the bed of my travel trailer. Remind me to show 'em to you some day. Thanks, my friend.
DeleteGood web site. A lot of good stuff out there. Duke has a good point. We print off things that are of interest. Will eventually have a kind of survival book of our own.
ReplyDeleteGood idea, John, thanks.
DeleteThanks for the link and comments. I'm always looking for new topics.
ReplyDeleteDr. Hubbard, my pleasure. You've a very nice and informative site. Thank you. Please, visit here again. You are now among friends.
