I Hope

For a quiet day of books, maybe a walk around the yard, perhaps a nap, coffee with, I hope, pastries. A day of peace and quiet. I'll be satisfied with a warm fire, a lap cat, my Sweet Wife gently singing in the background as I read the Sunday paper. I hope for an hour or so to lightly caress - one of my firearms.

I hope, my friends, the same for you.

If we're lucky, maybe late this afternoon, a cup of hot chocolate.

Take care.

Stephen

  2. We're all back in the warm house now. It's not excruciatingly cold, but the wind didn't help this morning. Hot chocolate and a fire tonight for sure. The in-laws in Ontario described their weather this morning and I can only say I'm happy to be down here.

    1. We've had a fairly nice day of wind and cool temps...I made tea and have relaxed with a good book...and, as is my weakness, ordered two more. Hot chocolate is possible. Thanks.

  3. Sounds like a great Sunday To me. I am in a mad dash trying to put meat in the freezer. I walked miles today tracking moose but still no luck. They are yarded up in thick timber and moving little. A pastry, a coffee then a nap sounds very, very good.

    regards

    1. Good to 'hear' from you, Dan. Kick those moose out of the timber and fill the freezer. I need to buy another whole hog to top off my years supply. I didn't get the pastry, hot tea instead. Take care and thank you for the comment.

  4. It's all good. Course, maybe a little something extra in your tea, or hot chocolate. A nice quiet Sunday, that's great.
