Are We Surplus Terrorist?

According to the FBI, I am. Why, because I frequent surplus supply stores. I've been purchasing items and gear from surplus stores since it was still possible to buy real surplus gear in them; the 'old dusty musty stacked to the ceiling stores' of my youth. Now, not so much. You're more than likely to find mass produced  China junk at the local 'prepper' emporium than you are genuine and useful gear. But, it doesn't excuse this, well, crap.

  1. This has been on a lot of blogs I read today. The very tone of the thing is infuriating. I think it's just some bureaucrat trying to expand his little empire and justify his budget. That doesn't make it any less onerous though.

  2. Very true, Arsenius. Like one of my customers yesterday that received a letter from the abc boys asking why he'd ordered a thousand rounds of ammunition. He said, so take it for what it's worth, that he replied and said it was none of their business and to, his words, 'shove it.'
Guess I'll order my ammo in 900 round lots in the future.

  3. Yay for it coming from the Denver Office. Just another reason why the moonbat Front Range legislates the rest of the conservative state. I guess I'll just assimilate to the DNC. Can I get the welfare now?

  4. Veteran, conservative, gun owner, now this. I'm just waiting for the no Knock warrant to be served to me. I'm pretty sure though that I broken fewer laws than the ATF,FBI,IRS, DEA, EPA and all of the elected professional politicians. I'll go quietly, of course. Gary

  6. We are looking into something for hunting at the farm right now. As well.. huge problem with a LOT of coyote.

Could they get any more ridiculous?!? I love military surplus stores. Ammo boxes are great for storing seeds.. and frankly a thousand other uses for many of those things. (Although I must say... the last pair of Jungle boots didn't last a week.. sure hope they don't actually issue that kind of crap quality to those serving..)

Oh.. this just makes me wish I could go shopping...

  7. Anne, a rifle and shotgun are a must for any farm.

Yes, the government is ridiculous, and worries me to no end.

    Thanks for your comment.
